A great team performance, hitting the woodwork twice and many missed chances. Goal scorers were Owen Northall, David Hughes, Levi Davies and man of the match Matthew Tombs.

An excellent first half performance saw us go into the break with a four nil lead with two goals apiece from Matty Wareham and Zac Griffiths. Matty first goal was an excellent finish from distance which was even complimented on by Ruthins manager. We also hit the woodwork three times and numerous missed chances.

However, credit to Ruthin who never gave up and came back at us in the second half and scored two goals. However we always looked dangerous and Matty Wareham grabbed his hatrick from a free kick and Jake Morris came off the bench to notch his first goal of the season.

Man of the match was awarded to Levi Davies for an excellent all round performance.

With only 13 players available today against our toughest test so far we knew it was always going to be difficult. However a superb half volley lob by Matty Wareham followed by a goal from Owen Northall put us two up after 20 mins. However, David Hughes had to come off injured early which depleted our squad even more. Llangollen got back into the game and Matty Wareham scored again to get us 3-2 up going into half time.

Missed chances cost us as Llangollen finished strong, the lads were tiring but no fresh legs to bring on. Llangollen scored three goals in the latter stages of the game to give the final score 3 – 5. A disappointing result as we had enough chances to do better. We need to get our heads up again and put our first defeat behind us.

Man of the match was awarded to Gareth Williams.

Having gone into half time with a 1 – 0 lead we were disappointed to end up losing the game 4 – 2. Matty Wareham continued his rich goal scoring form with a fine turn and shot which lobbed over the keeper into the net.

However, to be fair to Borras they came at us the second half quickly and turned the game round. Two quick goals from open play and a third with an unmarked header from a free kick put us 3-1 down. However, straight from the kick off David Hughes played a ball over the top for Owen Northall to hit first time into the top corner of the net. The game was end to end and either team could have scored more goals. However, it was Borras who got the decisive goal as we pushed on.

A bit harsh on our lads who had worked hard. However, we know Borras are a good team, winning every game so far, so we should be pleased with how our team is developing.

Man of the match was awarded to Tyler Parry.

We were drawn against a team we know very well. Borras very clinical in their finishing on the day and deserved their victory. However, our lads should and could have scored more goals. Matty Wareham grabbed a brace and should really have had at least a hat trick. Indeed it was 0-0 when Matty lobbed the keeper only to see it drift past the upright. However, straight from the goal kick Borras took the lead and never looked back. Our heads dropped a little after a few tough games and defeats.

Man of the match was awarded to David Hughes.

Always going to be difficult against an older/physically stronger team. However, the score doesn’t do the lads justice. They played really well but again lady luck not with us. Matty Wareham should probably have had a penalty, and Owen Northall hit the bar with the goal keeper stranded. It wasn’t to be, as we played some good football against the team form the u14’s league.

Man of the match was Matthew Tombs who dominated the midfield.

The attitude and commitment of the lads was excellent, especially after a very tough month with us losing the last four. Surely a return to winning ways is just around the corner. Keep it going lads, it will come.

Great to get back to winning ways. A good team performance, more composed which meant we passed the ball better today. After a slow start, Zac Griffiths scored two very good goals to put us 2-0 up at the break. A great half volley lob for the first, followed by a composed finish for his second.

We got into our stride in the second half and created many chances. Further goals from Charlie Isaac, Alex Williams, Levi Davies and Matty Wareham with a brace put us firmly in charge. Zac Griffiths grabbed his hat trick to round off a Man of the Match performance.

To be fair to Rhosddu they were well organised and kept going. Indeed they could have grabbed a couple themselves. A good team performance today. Well done lads, keep it going.

A great team performance ended Coedpoeths 100% record. After going a goal down the lads turned it round in the first half thanks to Matty Wareham chipping the keeper for the equalizer. Matty was brought down for a penalty which David Hughes calmly slotted home to put us 2 – 1 up at the break. The lads were fired up for the second half and scored 3 goals in five minutes. Zac Griffiths got his first, then chipped in a great goal from 20 yards after the keeper had blocked a Matty Wareham effort. Matty the got his second curling in right footed around the keeper after some good work by Owen Northall. Owen then added the sixth after Matty Warehams shot rolled across the goal after hitting the post. The whole team played very well, so credit to all not just the lads on the scoresheet. Man of the match was awarded to Matty Wareham.

We came up against a fired up Johnstown team. Right from the whistle they chased and hassled all over the pitch. All credit to them for the effort. Our lads appeared second best no matter how much we tried against this big, physical team. The match ended 0 – 6, however, we had chances to get on the score sheet but it wasn’t our day. Johnstown gaining revenge for their opening day 4 – 0 loss at their ground.

After beating Coedpoeth 6 – 1, ending their 100% record we were hoping to do the double. However, we were a goal down after 5 mins. We did turn it round to go 2-1 up thanks to Zac Griffiths, but conceded with the last kick of the first half to go level. A bad start to the second half left us 5-2 down, Matty Wareham chipped in our third to give us hope but Coedpoeth grabbed a sixth to finish the game off 6-3. A little disappointing as we felt it was a close game. Man of the match was Elliot Rooza who made some excellent saves in goal.
