Venture Community F.C. - Clwb Pel Droed Y Fentur

Venture started the football club back in June 1994, when the local parents and staff from the venture realised how much young people wanted a football team.

Between 1994 and 2002 the Venture only managed to run one team per year, starting from under 8's through to under 16's and then started again in 1998 with an under 12's team through to under 16's, then through a lot of talk from chairman Malcolm King and vice-chairman Darren Roberts it was decided to start our very first men's team. We started off in the Sunday league for a season, but with the team being very young found it hard to play week in week out, so at the start of the 2004/05 season we decided to put an under 21's team in the Welsh national league on a Saturday afternoon, and then hand over the Sunday team to past users of the Venture.

So hard work from volunteers we now have 3 teams, an under 12's, under 21's and a Sunday men's team.
